Got the Polarie Star Tracker, it's cool
I grabbed the Polarie Star Tracker from Vixen's website. Wanted to try some wide-field astrophotography. It got here pretty fast, like 6 days. The tracker was easy to figure out, even for me who's not super technical. It did a good job keeping my camera on target. The whole process was smooth and the website was easy to navigate. No complaints really, it just works.
Good R200SS, some shipping delay
I ordered the R200SS Newtonian Reflector from Vixen's site a few weeks ago. The ordering process was straightforward enough, no real hitches there. Delivery took about 9 days to get to my place in Texas, which was a bit longer than I'd hoped given the 'estimated 5-7 business days' on their shipping page. The scope itself arrived well-packaged, everything was secure inside the box. Quality seems solid, exactly what I expected from Vixen. I set it up and the optics are clear, providing good views. Solid Sphinx SX2, minor issue
I recently purchased the Sphinx SX2 Equatorial Mount. The price point was fair for the quality you get; it's a very sturdy piece of equipment.
